CREATING NATURE RESERVES FOR PRESERVATION OF THE FOREST ENVIRONMENT IN TERMS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM (ON THE EXAMPLE OF IVANO-FRANKIVSK OBLAST).

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis
of natural potential in oblast, great
amount of protected areas and objects, including
national parks and regional landscape
parks, which shows that they are
a solid base for intensive development of
tourism and recreation in the future. On the
basis of the analysis there have been stated
the factors preventing from further wider
usage of protected areas and objects.
Natural reserves, national parks and
regional landscape parks bear specifi c possibilities
permitting to form the unique educational
environment for communication
with the local population, which is necessary
in the competition conditions existing
in preparation of the certain territories for
reservation. There have been offered the
ways of the improvement of the educational
work among the local population by means
of specialists’ training, experience exchange
between native and international nature reserving
organizations.
Analysis of protected areas and objects
conservation and preservation was made in
terms of regions and towns of oblast. The
study found that most protected areas are in
the lands of the forest fund; in some areas
the proportion of protected areas reaches
20%. There have been offered some ways to
create a reserve for the expansion of protected
areas, improvement of their use for
development of recreation and tourism.
