In this article
the factors of infl uence of musical festivals
development of tourism in Ukraine are
studied in terms of possibility of bringing in
foreign and Ukrainian investors for popularization
of this industry in the world tourist
market. There is considerable strengthening
of activity of young and experimental representatives
of musical sphere on the modern
stage of cultural development of Ukraine. It
resulted in appearance of numerous musical
events. Due to the scale, some of these
measures, require bringing in considerable
investments.
Music festivals attract many foreign
tourists due to their rich cultural program.
The program of such events usually contains
not only a musical constituent but also
different types of modern photo-exhibitions,
artistic exhibitions, poetic appearances,
lectures etc. It is possible to consider Porto
Franko an example of such festival. Porto
Franko is organized in Ivano-Frankivsk annually.
Musical tourism is one of the most actual
methods of associating representatives
of different social groups.
In many foreign countries, music and
cultural festivals are held annually, gathering
people from all over the world and attracting
signifi cant investments for continuous
improvement of the organization.
Festival tourism increasingly covers
more and more visitors. Therefore, festival
tourism should give Ukraine an additional
incentive for development, borrowing methods
and forms of foreign experience.
Thus, the musical sphere is an integral
part of not only Ukrainian culture, it is also
a signifi cant part of tourism. Music is a
means of communication between people of
different nationalities. Therefore, it should
be considered as an additional tool for effective
development of tourist industry in
Ukraine. Festival tourism today needs much
more attention.
Festival tourism as a factor in sustainable
development of communities, cities,
countries that really affects economic situation
of any region.
