Abstract

Abstract. Purpose of the study is to identify the specifics of disorders of the affective spectrum of a mature person in crisis periods of his life. Methods. The study used observation, interview, questionnaire, method of document analysis and expert evaluations, standardized and projective research methods, which identified the features of anxiety and depressive clusters of affective disorders in adulthood during crises. Results. It is substantiated that the determinants of the manifestation of this spectrum of affective disorders are both the intensity of experiencing crisis periods of life in adulthood, and the presence of certain personal dispositions; and their emergence and development are facilitated by socio-psychological factors of macro, meso and micro levels. It is established that the actualization of the anxiety cluster of affective disorders in adults in crisis periods of life is associated with dissatisfaction with the need for security and self-development, psychasthenic and asthenoneurotic accentuations of character, personality traits such as anxiety, indecision, socialism, conservatism, conservatism, conservatism, conservatism dysfunction in the form of various forms of induction of negative emotions and difficulties in their processing, etc. Compared with them, studied with a depressive cluster of affective disorders were characterized by a low level of social support and a limited social support network, a high level of emotional distress, suicidal tendencies and stressful life events. Predictors of their emotional distress and high levels of psychological stress were both dysfunctions of the social network, primarily a decrease in trust and symmetry in relationships with others to provide social support and low level of social integration, and family dysfunctions, including severe fixation on negative. Actualization of anxiety and depressive spectrum of affective disorders does not imply the obligatory nature of all these components, but with increasing their number increases the likelihood of occurrence and development of these disorders, which may later be fixed at the level of stable personal dispositions.
