Purpose of the study is to identify the psychological characteristics of the subjective well-being of the individual in the matrimonial dimension (in the family). Methods. The study used methods of observation, interviews, questionnaires, standardized and projective methods of psychodiagnostics, which revealed the specifics of
relationships and conditions of interaction in marriage, the degree of satisfaction with marriage, features of selfrealization in the family (at the operational level, values and roles). ), socio-psychological adaptability and coherence of family values and role expectations in marriage, in particular with the use of scales of subjective well-being, social
desirability, affective balance, interpersonal family conflict. Results. The content, structural components (cognitive-evaluative, motivational-value, emotional-behavioral) and functions (regulatory, prognostic, developmental) of the subjective well-being of the individual in marriage are determined. Socio-psychological factors of subjective wellbeing of a person in marriage are singled out: socio-psychological adaptability and tolerance; value-oriented unity with a partner in the compatibility and well-being of marital relations; marital satisfaction; consistency of the degree of significance of family values in the emotional, intimate-sexual, economic, domestic, parental and educational spheres, spheres of personal identification and social activity; the possibility of self-development, self-improvement and personal achievement in combination with the dominance of family values; certainty and consistency of role
expectations and role claims, coincidence of ideas about role behavior; low level of conflict in family interaction (marital support, emotional comfort, culture of communication) according to the selected indicators of its structural components. An integrated program of social and psychological support of the subjective well-being of the individual
in marriage has been developed, the effectiveness of which is ensured by the principles of its construction and functioning and the systematic application of certain socio-psychological factors.
