The System Of Offences Against Socio-Economic Human Rights Under The Criminal Code Of Ukraine

The article is devoted to the study of the system of crimes encroaching on socio-economic human rights. The author establishes that the current Criminal Code of Ukraine has a system of crimes against socio-economic rights, each component of which, on the one hand, is an independent element of this system, and on the other hand, interacts with other crimes included in this system, forming a set of criminal law provisions aimed at criminal law protection of socio-economic human rights. The author proves that the bulk of crimes of the relevant type is contained in Section V of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These include: crimes against human labour rights (obstruction of the lawful activities of trade unions, political parties, public organizations (Article 170), gross violation of labour legislation (Article 172 of the Criminal Code), gross violation of a labour agreement (Article 173 of the Criminal Code), coercion to participate in a strike or obstruction of participation in a strike (Article 174 of the Criminal Code), non-payment of wages, scholarships, pensions or other payments established by law (Article 175 of the Criminal Code)); crimes against the right to ownership of the results of one’s intellectual and creative activity: violation of copyright
