PRINCELY HALYCH

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of historical and topographic study of the chronicle of Halych, the archeological studios of the 30s of the XX century. Based on the study of the heritage of his predecessors and contemporaries, the author made an attempt to reconstruct the image of a powerful princely capital with a clear reference to the geographical environment, specific places that influenced the development of the city. The researcher did not limit himself to the princely period, but also appealed to the later period and its key figures, in particular from the church environment.
